If you are a morning person, this is the job for you! Responsible for preparing, setting up, and replenishing a variety of food and beverage items, cleaning and maintaining kitchen and eating areas; greeting and serving guests. Breakfast shifts are approximately 6 hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and Brand goals.
· Be aware of quality assurance (QA) requirements for department.
· Performs a variety of food preparation duties, such as prepare hot and cold breakfast foods and drinks.
· Clean and maintain kitchen, equipment, utensils, service and eating areas.
· Brew coffee, tea, etc.
· Operate food preparation equipment.
· Order supplies, put up stock, and keeps records.
· Maintain Brand Standards and Health Department requirements.
· Responsible for setting up and replenishing all food items.
· Greet and serve guests as demand is needed.
· Remain highly visible and be readily available for guests at all times.
· Take initiative to offer assistance or answer questions throughout the hotel.
· Use empowerment to exceed associate / guest expectations and resolve conflicts.
· Willingness and ability to train new associates.
· Thoroughly understand and implement the Brand service culture.
· Perform all shift checklist responsibilities.
· Support team members to ensure the team’s entire workload is completed daily
Summary
As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests during the morning hours. Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Your core kitchen experience, combined with relevant skills in food service, catering, and host/hostess duties, will ensure a delightful breakfast experience. We expect you to deliver exceptional service while efficiently managing tasks such as bussing and assisting with banquet setups, contributing to our commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
