Industrial Mechanic Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, power saws, welder, etc., and improvise when equipment is limited.
• Design and build small tools and fixtures from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Makes periodic checks of machines and equipment and performs preventative maintenance as required; oils, greases, etc.
• Perform carpentry and sheet metal work in fabricating and repairing benches, guards, boxes, trays, etc.
• Makes sketches for and builds racks, bins, shelves, and other aids to production.

About You: As a skilled Maintenance Technician, you will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, and electrical systems. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently make you an ideal fit for this role.
Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge.
• Working experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (480v), and preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
