What you will do:
Provide quality leadership to OEM customers by serving as liaison for customers on key customer quality deliverables and expectations. Facilitate strategies for customer communications that ensure Clarios’ cross functional team alignment while maximizing value to customers. Work with internal teams to ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSR), customer change management, product qualification requirements, and product non-conformance. Conduct business with customers in professional manner that facilitate a positive customer experience and establishes goodwill between Clarios and OEM customer teams.

Our Florence, South Carolina distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, and motorcycles. We have been here since 2007 and now employ more than 285 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and received the United Way Campaign Excellence Award annually since 2015. Our employees also support the American Heart Association.

How You Will Do It
- Build Relationships & Communication: Develop strong customer relationships and communication strategies for timely, professional responses.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Align internal teams on customer quality topics and generate consistent communication packages.
- Customer Reporting: Standardize expectations for customer report-outs and coordinate plant/cross-functional input.
- Issue Resolution: Lead problem-solving initiatives (8D/5-Why) and ensure timely resolution of customer quality concerns.
- Quality Alerts & Compliance: Generate Quality Alerts/CARs and verify process/system sustainability.
- PPAP & Change Management: Oversee PPAP documentation, testing, and CSR compliance for product/process changes.
- Customer Audits: Coordinate customer on-site visits (Run @ Rate, STAR Audits) and ensure open issue resolution.
- Risk Mitigation: Provide technical expertise to mitigate risks and quality escapes.
- Education: BS in Engineering, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 6 years in technical customer support (Automotive OEMs), with proven ability to navigate complex organizations.
- Quality Systems: Experience with ISO 9001/TS16949 and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Automotive Expertise: 4 years in automotive, battery systems, or electrical fields.
- Core Tools: Proficiency in FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and OEM CSR requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa analysis, and program launch processes.
