General Description:
As an Insurance Biller, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare industry by ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims. You will be responsible for completing claims to payers, submitting billing data to the appropriate insurance providers, processing claims, and resolving denial instances. Your attention to detail, understanding of medical coding and billing procedures, and ability to navigate insurance systems will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities for Medical billing, include:
i. Posting charges and completing claims to payers, while adhering to all regulations and guidelines set by state programs and HMO/PPO.
ii. Submitting billing data to the appropriate insurance providers.
iii. Interfacing with Claris’ Electronic Health Records system, AdvancedMD.
iv. Processing claims and resolving denial instances in collaboration with Claris Health clinical staff.
v. Achieving maximum reimbursement for services provided by deploying, maintaining, and reporting on various programs.
vi. Performing Medi-Cal reviews.
vii. Providing data for annual reports (such as OSHPD), financial
audits, etc.
viii. Conducting duties in a professional and timely fashion.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Claris Health’s pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
