Clarity Behavioral Health is hiring! We’re looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our diverse clinical team in delivering mental health services in a collaborative, client-centered, and evolving environment. In This Role, You Will

  • Provide medication management and individual psychotherapy services to clients of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns in person and via video.
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans.
  • Complete all patient documentation in a timely manner via our electronic health records platform.
  • Manage your caseload with a minimum time commitment of 5 hours a week.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to deliver high-quality, culturally responsive care to a diverse population of clients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of licensed therapists, provisional therapists and psychiatric nurse practitioners.

Qualifications

  • Must live in New Jersey
  • Experience: 2 years of experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner, with proficiency in mental health assessment, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, triage, and crisis management.
  • Licensure & Certification:
    • Active, unrestricted New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license and New Jersey nurse practitioner furnishing license with Schedule II prescriptive authority.
    • Active and unrestricted DEA (schedules II-V) - must be New Jersey DEA.
    • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan (PMHNP-BC).
  • Professional Record: No adverse actions from nursing boards, hospitals, or credentialing bodies in the past 2 years. No suspension/exclusion/debarment from federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP).
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfort with technology, EHR systems, and tele-health best practices.
  • Compliance: Willingness to obtain a CURES account (PDMP) and ensure checks are completed before prescribing controlled substances, with follow-ups every 6 months.’
  • Experience working with clients with moderate to severe Anxiety, Depression and/or ADHD, implementing evidence-based interventions.
