Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Companion to provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and possess a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for those they serve. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in the community.
- Perform first aid when necessary and ensure emergency procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with family members and agency providers to create personalized care plans.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, home health, or caregiving is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform first aid and CPR is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 3pm-7pm & Saturday 10am-6pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
