What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospital Staffing Coordinator position at Clarity Child Guidance Center?
Education/Training/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- UKG Ready and Scheduler Experience strongly desired
- Two years hospital staffing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Nursing Department Staffing and Training
· Develops monthly schedules for all shifts/units based on core staffing requirements and monthly vacation requests, communicating with employees as necessary on individual schedules
· Ensures adequate daily staffing based on patient acuity system, contracting with outside agencies, as needed
· Coordinates orientation, observation, and staff development for nursing staff
· Generates monthly staff reports for nursing management
· Maintains records relating to education, attendance, and tardiness
· Maintain and keep up with any updates in UKG scheduler
· Provide training to Nursing managers/HR regarding UKG scheduler updates
· Coordinates with management team to identify training needs and activities.
· Ensures job training qualification and certification processes are followed.
· Tracks training events, keeps accurate training records and provides reports on training progress and completion to leadership.
· Ensures compliance with required training and attendance, maintaining documentation as needed
· Maintains accurate phone list for staff
HR Organization Training and Compliance
· Maintain training calendar in conjunction with hospital wide and department training needs, communicating as necessary
· Effectively manage training profiles in RLS database
· Ensures compliance with required training and attendance, maintaining documentation as needed
· Perform backup duties, as necessary, in absence of other HR staff
