POSITION SUMMARY
Provide for the organization's financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, contributors and grantmakers, and the financial community.

EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Four to ten years related experience
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- CPA or CMA certification valid in the State of Texas
THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Oversee and direct treasury, budgeting, audit, accounting, purchasing, long forecasting, insurance activities and computer systems for organization
- Provide and direct procedures and computer application systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls/services
- Direct activities such as custodian of funds, securities, and assets of organization
- Appraise the organization's financial position and issues periodic reports relative to financial stability, liquidity and growth
- Direct and coordinate the establishment of budget programs
- Coordinate external governmental reporting programs
- Analyze, consolidate, and direct all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports
- Analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations
