Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversees the administration of human resource programs, including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, culture, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Collaborates with the executive team to understand and develop the organization's goals and strategy for talent acquisition and retention.
- Research and analyze organizational trends, including reviewing reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices, and review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate policy, practice, and resource changes to the executive team.
- Oversee payroll processes, including tax management, reporting, and compliance for all entities.
- Collaborate with supervisors in effectively managing employees.
- Oversee the department's daily workflow and effectively manage HR personnel, operations, and budget.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 7 or more years of progressive experience required, with at least three years of related management experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
- Expertise in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Paycom)
- Strong knowledge of compensation methodologies, market analysis, and regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Benefits Administration - Negotiates, implements, communicates, and controls the cost of benefits as part of the overall total rewards and retention strategies.
- Change Management - Oversees and implements organizational change management strategies throughout the organization to provide direction and guidance through the change process.
- Coaching - Provides advice to leadership staff on employee relations topics such as discussing salary, performance management, and organizational policy changes.
- Communication - Effectively disseminates information throughout the organization to keep employees and leadership informed of organizational changes in a timely and professional manner
- Compliance - Updates policies and processes proactively, as needed, to ensure compliance with state and federal laws related to the industry which may include audits, training, and policy revisions.
- Continuous Improvement - Consistently striving and proactively finding ways to improve the employee experience and achieve organizational goals in more effective and productive ways.
- Employee Experience - Proactively seeks out ways to improve the employee experience within the company to increase retention and job satisfaction for staff

- Project Management - Effectively initiates, plans, executes, monitors, and finishes projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that goals are achieved within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Recruitment - Oversees recruitment efforts and creates the recruitment strategy that aligns to the business objectives and supports the needs of the Clinic to continue operating at optimum levels.
- Retention - Creates, Implements, and upholds retention strategies to ensure competitiveness in the market, cost control, as well as the operational success of the Clinic
- Risk Management - Identifies and addresses potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Systems - Demonstrates a strong understanding of navigating the HR systems, running reports, system configuration, and location of information pertaining to employees and employee data
- Team Development - Develops the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the People Team staff through weekly 1:1s, effective feedback, and collaborating on development opportunities.
- Total Rewards - Oversees the administration and management of company total rewards offerings for all employees.
