Strategic Learning & Program Development Consultant

We are working closely with a community college to identify a Strategic Learning & Program Development Consultant to lead the transformation of general education courses into dynamic, real-world problem-solving and community engagement platforms. This initiative will be structured around a project-based Innovation & Leadership Lab, integrated with discipline-specific courses to provide students with hands-on experiences that enhance their academic, professional, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

As the consultant, you will:

• Collaborate with faculty to establish an initial cohort spanning multiple disciplines.
• Guide the launch of a VR flagship project (developed by an external vendor).
• Facilitate regular alignment meetings to ensure strategic execution.
• Define key benchmarks and success metrics.
• Analyze program data to assess impact and effectiveness.

Start Date: Mid-April

Duration & Hours: To be determined by a consultant following an interview

Location: Virtual, with availability to work Pacific Time hours.

Experience Required:

• Expertise in developing and implementing strategic initiatives in education.
• Experience working within higher education, particularly in curriculum transformation.
• Ability to align curriculum redesign with institutional goals and industry trends.
• Proven track record of designing and executing interdisciplinary learning strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable providing a project estimate after the interview.

The pay range for this is $70.00 to $85.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
