As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a friendly and organized Intake Specialist to help us streamline client intakes and provide a welcoming experience for new clients.
Position Overview:
The Intake Specialist will be responsible for managing the intake process, gathering necessary information from potential clients, and assisting them with the first steps of entering therapy. This role is key to ensuring that clients feel comfortable and informed as they begin their therapeutic journey.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake phone and email accounts, responding to messages professionally and efficiently.
- Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to assess their needs and gather relevant information.
- Schedule intake appointments and provide clients with necessary information about our practice and services.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding scheduling, paperwork, and any intake-related questions.
- Collaborate with therapists to match clients with the right provider based on their needs and therapist availability.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Follow up with potential clients who have expressed interest but haven’t completed the intake process.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a mental health or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an empathetic and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
