What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Manager position at Clarity Credit Union?
Full-time Marketing Director to improve the Credit Union's competitive position, consistent with its mission, within the markets served. Develop objectives, policies and programs for marketing activities of the Credit Union. Plan, direct, and coordinate the efforts of marketing and outreach toward the accomplishment of overall objectives. Enhance communication of the credit union story and impact within the community. Supply advice and assistance to the President and other operating units within the organization. Maintain a consistent brand for the organization.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Directs all advertising and sales promotions. Manage the development of advertising programs and collateral materials in a brand consistent manner.
- Directs marketing and sales planning, including an analysis of competitive products/services and selling techniques, legislation, budgets, pricing and distribution.
- Monitor results of advertising, promotions, and marketing through reporting. Use data driven results to modify marketing and promotional plans.
- Coordinates special events; monitors planning, schedules and implementation as required for proper execution of each event. Coordinates the annual meeting, including production of reports, facilities, and meeting logistics,
- Works with Operations to support Employer Group Meetings (EGM's)s); promotes Credit Union to employees and works with employer groups to maintain a positive relationship.
- Conducts market research and recommends product/service modifications or improvements.
- Directly and indirectly markets and maintains credit union information in social media.
- Manages member complaint/grievance response activity.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
- Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
- Interpersonal Skills: Motivating or influencing others is a material part of the job. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. The role requires a significant level of trust or diplomacy.
- Other Skills: Graphic design and copywriting skills are frequently required. A solid understanding of credit union and marketing regulations for compliance is also necessary.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical activity for setting up and tearing down events is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $84,000.00 - $93,500.00 per year
