We are looking for a new face to make friendly first impressions of our office for our patients! An upbeat, positive, and friendly attitude is a must for our new patient care coordinator. They are responsible for directing patient flow in the front of the office and optimizing the patient schedule and experience. Job responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients at appointment check-in
- Preparing patient charts, guiding them through intake process, and getting them ready to be taken back for visits with the doctor
- Answering phones to schedule appointments and answer questions
- Pulling and verifying patient insurance benefits
- Filing patient records
- Maintaining a clean and tidy atmosphere in the front of the office
- Directing flow of patients in the front of the office
- Additional patient communications including appointment reminders, strategic optimization of the clinic schedule
- Potential to cross-train in other office functions
