we use eyecloud pro for the EHR and you will have the greatest techs for both locations. paper charts is ok if need be

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of visual disorders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.
• Provide appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans for various ocular conditions.
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the use of corrective lenses.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including ophthalmologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
• Assist in the sales of eyewear products and provide excellent customer service throughout the purchasing process.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry and ophthalmology.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with optical products and sales techniques is preferred.
• Understanding of anatomy as it relates to the visual system.
• Experience with medical records management and medical coding is a plus.
• Proficient in aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during examinations.
