Clarity Partners is seeking an HR Generalist local to Chicago, IL. The HR Generalist will report directly to the HR Manager and help provide comprehensive support across all areas of Clarity Partners’ HR practices and processes, including onboarding and offboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a team player and proactive problem solver with a passion for creating a positive employee experience. This position requires hybrid reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and managing onboarding tasks in Paylocity
- Assist with employee benefits programs, including enrollment, troubleshooting, education, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date HR policies and employee records.
- Address employee relations issues by serving as a resource for staff, resolving concerns in alignment with company policies and values.
- Assist HR Manager in salary benchmarking, compensation reviews, and payroll-related tasks.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, including support with event planning and office events.
- Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, evaluations, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager on projects to improve HR processes and employee experiences.
- Manage offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and various other administrative offboarding tasks.
- Maintain and update employee information in HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices, including employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience working with an HRIS (Paylocity experience is a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- PHR certification is desired.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
