Salary :
We are seeking a biller who is immediately available in the next month for a short-term (hopefully) project. You would need to be available full-time for the next month, as I am facing bankruptcy if I can't recoup this quickly.
We currently have two billers managing our active patient billing. Still, we have a significant backlogover $500K in outstanding collections from 2024 and approximately $100K from 2023that needs to be recovered. Im looking for someone to take on this short-term project, working full-time on our account for the next month. At a 6% collections rate, you could potentially earn up to $36K for your work in one month.
The ideal candidate is :
Tech-savvy comfortable navigating CRMs (therapy flow), project management tools (Asana), and Google Drive. Able to provide a weekly collections report of what you've billed and what has been collected as a result of your efforts.
Experienced with behavioral health and psychological testing billing systems we transitioned from Simple Practice (2023) to Insync (Waystar clearinghouse) and have now migrated to Opus EHR / Practice Suite (Cognizant / Trizetto clearinghouse). As far as I see, it looks like retroactive auths may need to be obtained for some of the psych testing, that secondary and tertiary insurances may need to be billed, as well as just picking up the phone and calling the insurance company and patients, establishing contacts and being efficient through effective and professional communication.
Detail-oriented and resourceful Due to Insync's reporting limitations, we relied heavily on Asana (our project management tool) and Google Drive to track appointments and patient billing details. This means reconciliation will require cross-referencing different platforms.
I want to be upfront that our tech setup has been a challenge for some billers in the past, so Im looking for someone who can hit the ground running without much difficulty.
