Description:
Senior UI developer for a new system being developed from the ground up to provide workflow automation, modernization, oversight, and mission cognizance for mission critical work roles. You will provide input into design, development, and integration of a modern UI for a complex web-based application. You will be working on a mixed skillset team consisting of frontend, backend, and full stack developers as well as data scientists and a UX designer in close collaboration with the mission customer.
Responsibilities:
• Develop system UI based on customer requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentoring for junior front end and full stack developers.
• Work with UX designer to gather and interpret customer input and requirements.
• Implement testing frameworks for front end portions of the system.
• Continually incorporate feedback from system owners and end users.
Skills Requirements:
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development using React or similar frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with building complex web applications including features like user/role specific functionality and interactive data visualizations.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Nice to Haves:
• Experience with additional programming languages (Python, Java).
• Service containerization and deployment with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with or understanding of full stack development and web application architecture.
YOE Requirement: 12 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline
