What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class A Driver - Starting Pay $30/Hour position at Clark Associates Companies?

The Restaurant Store is looking for reliable, skilled applicants with a focus on safety to join our rapidly growing company as a CDL Class A Driver at one of our Lancaster distribution centers.

40 hours per week guaranteed with opportunities for overtime
Dedicated routes within a 125-mile radius of the base
The majority of our trucks are 2016 & newer Volvos and receive regular service and maintenance
Consistent hours and home every day!
30 per hour; up to $85,000 per year with overtime

Responsibilities :

Properly inspect tractor and trailer for any damage or unsafe operating conditions before use

Transport trailers to our Restaurant Store retail locations

Must follow all company safety rules and procedures

Maintain driver logs in compliance with state and federal regulations

Perform any other tasks assigned by the managers

Job Requirements :

Must possess a valid CDL A class license and have a safe driving record

Two years of CDL A driving experience preferred

Existing CDL Hazmat Endorsement preferred, must be obtained within 60 days

Must be able to communicate effectively with distribution center managers and delivery location staff

Must be willing to drive in all weather conditions

Must be able to drive manual transmission

Responsible for scheduling and maintaining trucks and trailers

Hours (Approximate) :

Overnights, Sunday PM thru Friday AM

10 PM to 6 AM with nightly variation

Starting pay rate : $30.00 / hr
