Job description
Clark Bros. Inc., a successful California Heavy Civil Contractor, in business over 60 years, is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator for its Fresno office.
The Estimator will be responsible for providing full estimating and proposal preparation for heavy civil projects, including earthwork, roads, bridges and utilities. Estimators will collaborate with project managers to develop comprehensive bid packages and proposals.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Estimating or related fields are preferred, but will substitute degree for solid experience.
- 7 years’ experience in cost estimating and cost control in civil, earthwork, grading, structural concrete, or mechanical.
- Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, particularly in heavy civil projects.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and estimating software and database programs.
- Knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid estimating is preferred but not required.
