Superintendent – Water and Waste-Water Infrastructure
The Public Works division is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent to lead Water and Waste-Water Infrastructure projects.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, the Superintendent will work closely with the Project Manager to create and implement the overall strategy and project plan for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages overall project performance (scope, safety, quality, schedule, cost, Owner satisfaction).
- Implements and maintains a comprehensive Safety Program.
- Develops and manages project schedules.
- Plans and executes field materials and equipment procurement.
- Analyzes and manages equipment selection.
- Oversees Quality Control Programs.
- Manages crew and labor productivity.
- Prepares project reports.
- Trains personnel (Foreman, GF, PE) on industry best practices.
- Fosters strong client relationships.
- Leads project closeout planning and execution.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge and experience in the construction industry.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Extensive experience and thorough knowledge of construction operations and production tracking.
- Three consecutive years of relevant construction Superintendent experience and ten years of direct construction experience.
- Thorough understanding of formwork, mechanical equipment, and piping systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- A valid driver's license and insurability are required.
