Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Environmental Science Professor. Applicants must be willing to teach during the summer (in addition to other terms) and both online and in person. Lecture rate is $90.47 and lab rate is $77.27.
 
This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

  • Instruct classes in Environmental Science utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning. 
  • Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback..
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, businesses, advisory committees, and other educational partners to create unique learning opportunities at Clark College.
  • Participate in program, curriculum development and assessment activities.
  • Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques. 
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies
  • Master's Degree or higher in Environmental Science or a closely related science field (with significant graduate coursework in environmental science). 
  • Teaching experience.
  • Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
