Job purpose
The Support Staff provides administrative support to staff members and assists the staff of the organization, assuring that their operations run efficiently while helping other staff members to adequately fill their roles.
Duties and responsibilities
- Politely answer phones and direct calls appropriately
- Manage scheduling and rescheduling of client appointments
- Maintain and manage client medical records
- Maintain all document filing
- Manage records requests
- Pull charts for scheduled appointments
- Build new consumer charts when necessary
- Pleasantly greet and direct all incoming clients to appropriate appointments
- Collect and post client payments; run totals for Office Manager review
- Notify staff by checking in appointments
- Ensure necessary information is entered in EHR
- Complete other duties as required by the position and/or as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications
- Education – High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Skills/Abilities- Organization, Juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner
Working conditions
General Conditions- Work is generally performed in office type settings where answering phone and using computers and other technology should be expected.

Physical requirements
General Conditions- Job duties may require sitting or standing for long periods of time. Travel, with some trips requiring several hours in a vehicle, should be expected. Minor lifting and moving may be expected requiring ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
