What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medicaid Navigator position at Clark Community Mental Health?
The Medicaid Navigator will be responsible for assisting clients with the Missouri Medicaid Application process.
Duties and responsibilities
- Meet with clients to prepare Missouri Medicaid applications and documentation
- Maintain Missouri Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility active filing status
- Monitor application process and respond with pending items promptly
- Communicate to agency partners, client and billing team of eligibility response
- Maintain accurate records of eligibility determinations and related documentation
- Maintain ShowMe FSD trainings through MEDES and FAMIS
- Stay updated on changes in MO Medicaid Regulation that may impact eligibility criteria
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education – High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Skills/Abilities- Organization, Effective communication, Attention to detail, Confidentiality, Educating, Juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Education or Experience pertaining to MO Presumptive Eligibility Application process
Working conditions
General Conditions- Work is generally performed in office type settings where answering phone and using computers persistently and other technology should be expected.

Physical requirements
General Conditions- Job duties may require sitting or standing for long periods of time. Travel, with some trips requiring several hours in a vehicle, should be expected. Minor lifting and moving may be expected requiring ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
