Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to prep gravel base, set formwork, and finish concrete on their own without supervision. We require a minimum of 3 -5 years of concrete finishing experience. The ideal candidate would be a team player with a good attitude who would be open to transitioning into a foreman position in the future.
Duties
- Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including forming and leveling surfaces.
- Operate concrete equipment and heavy machinery as needed.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Perform work without causing damage to surrounding property and/or creating additional messes, such as leaving concrete splatter on houses, buildings, etc.
- Maintain a positive work environment by collaborating with others & having a good attitude.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in the construction industry for at least 3 to 5 years.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to concrete work and heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with concrete installation techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Experience in grading gravel base & setting formwork.
- Valid drivers license.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
