What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Systems Director position at Clark Construction Group?
The Finance Systems Director coordinates and implements the ongoing development, operation and maintenance of all components and aspects of the Enterprise Financial Systems suite of applications. This person will ensure the integrity of system data and security, equipment maintenance, organize related projects and work closely with IT staff to ensure collaboration and adherence to the Company’s technology policies and procedures for the respective systems.
Responsibilities
Ensures that the Corporate Finance department technology needs are met regarding transactions and setup.
Collaborates with Corporate Finance leaders, IT, and vendors to ensure that new requirements and changes are managed for the system.
Liaisons with Clark project teams and provided necessary support for associated applications.
Monitors the availability and performance of the systems and recommends optimizations.
Drives the change management for migration of changes to production environments
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering or equivalent
8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
Familiarity and comfort with the Clark suite of SAP products : SAP – S / 4HANA, Success Factors – EC Payroll, and SAP Analytics Cloud
Familiar with the business processes and procedures necessary to manage and maintain enterprise technologies
Hands-on experience with enterprise level system design and implementation
Ability to interpret and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Customer and vendor management are required to coordinate support
Map new business needs to vendor system functionality, ensure system availability, security and audit controls and procedures are maintained and followed
Willingness to learn new technical skills and accommodate evolving technologies
Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to execute multiple work tasks and prioritize work and interacting effectively with a diverse population
Ability to work independently and in a team / project-oriented environment
Good verbal and written communication skills

Construction work requires strenuous physical activity.
