Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and schematics.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate cost projections.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control measures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to guide construction activities.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations on-site.
- Use software tools such as Bluebeam and ProCore for project management and documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues using tools like an ohmmeter when necessary for electrical components.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project status and updates.
- Ensure that all work aligns with contract specifications and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Superintendent role or similar position within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, contracts, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics related to construction projects.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Bluebeam and ProCore is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus but not mandatory.
