The person in this position works directly for the County Recorder in the Clark County Recorder's Office located in the new Clark County Government Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
In summary, duties include answering telephone calls, greeting the public at a counter, collecting fees for services, processing legal documents such as property deeds, mortgages and other real estate related documents.
Job requirements and skills include a high school diploma or GED; working knowledge of standard computer software programs and applications; keyboarding skills, knowledge of basic filing systems; ability to maintain accurate and complete files; customer service skills.
