What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher position at Clark County Christian Preschool?
Clark County Christian Preschool is looking for an Infant-Toddler Assistant Teacher to assist in the daily operations of our preschool. The ideal candidate has a love for children, a love for ministry, understands the importance of early childhood education, and has a desire to impact children in Clark County. This position is a Monday thru Friday position between the hours of 9:00am-5:30pm. Job responsibilites include:
- Working closely under the direction of the lead teacher to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in their care
- Assisting with preparation, serving, and clean-up during meal times
- Working with children ages birth through one years-old
- Assist in the design and implementation of lesson plans with the lead teacher
- Providing quality child care for the needs of all of the children in the classroom
Requirements for this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED at minimum. Commonwealth Child Care Credential, Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood preferred, but not required.
- Must pass background check in accordance with state child care regulations
- Must complete TB Skin Test upon hire in accordance with state child care regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
