Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create reports, dashboards, and documents to fulfill requests.
- Maintain and manage production databases.
- Meet with key stakeholders from business units to gather, analyze, and determine data and information requirements in support of the organization’s BI solution, as well as business-as-usual requests.
- Research and resolve data load (ETL) issues from the different data environments.
- Document specifications for business intelligence or information technology (IT) reports, dashboards or other outputs.
- Continuously look for new ways of introducing process improvement in all aspects of the development life cycle.
- Design and implement best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes within the organization’s BI solution.
- Peer code and script reviews and inspections for optimization and accuracy.
- Provides security, integrity and validity to all of the organization’s data and BI reports.
- Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members within the department and organization.
- Responsible for the establishment and ongoing maintenance of an effective system of internal control within the scope of assigned job responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Knowledge
- One to three years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL (stored procedures, transactions, functions, etc.)
- One to three years of experience with SSIS, SSAS, Power BI and DAX.
- One to three years of data analytics experience with emphasis on business intelligence, ETL development, data warehousing, and analytics projects.
- Microsoft Fabric experience is a plus.
- Skilled at writing clear and concise requirements documentation and training materials, understanding user requirements, and implementing solutions.
- Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Knowledge and experience within the financial industry. Specifically, knowledge of database structure for the DNA Solutions Software by Fiserv.
- Agile SDLC
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects
- Ability to take and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to develop solutions for problems with concrete and/or abstract variables. Show innovation by finding ways to improve existing processes and/or create new ones.

Bachelors in Information Technology or related field of study
