- Researching and developing training materials for specialized, industrial training coursework.
- Working with various Service Sections to develop a comprehensive training program to the needs of the organization. This includes a needs assessment, curriculum development to support the development goals for the organization.
- Providing information for engaging professional industrial training opportunities and arranging for outside vendors to provide the training in meeting career and professional development goals of employees and management.
- Preparing and conducting in-house training classes, including scheduling of facilities and coordinating with other resources in providing appropriate educational opportunities in the wastewater industry. This includes preparing employees for professional certification testing.
- Conducting needs assessment for future internal industrial training programs and educational classes as needed. Provides reports on findings as a result of the needs assessment activities.
- Developing training and presentation materials, tests and other various methodologies of providing training of employees in an industrial setting.

- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology, human resources, business administration, public administration, or a field related to the area of assignment.
- Four years of full-time professional experience in the development, evaluation and presentation of training or training programs
- Equivalent combination of formal education and appropriate related experience may be considered.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Possess a valid Nevada Class [C] driver's license at time of appointment.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Additional background investigations may be conducted periodically after employment.
- Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
