Education and Experience: Graduation from high school AND four (4) years of direct experience in the delivery of safety and/or security related information or programs working in an industrial, manufacturing, wastewater or water treatment facility. Equivalent combination of training, experience, and education may be considered in calculating the four (4) years.

- Assisting in the development and presentation of classroom safety training, safety tailgates and field exercises.
- Participating in the development and maintenance of comprehensive occupational safety, security and emergency strategies to minimize the risks of personal injury, property damage, and loss to District assets.
- Participating in the investigation of security breaches and failures and recommends corrective actions.
- Investigating security-related complaints from the public or employees and recommends appropriate actions.
- Conducting scheduled and unscheduled safety-related inspections of District, work site facilities and field locations to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, applicable codes, and other safety regulations.
- Observing work in process and ensuring that proper personal protective equipment is worn and safety protocol is followed.
- Providing written corrective action plans and following up based on inspections and observations of work tasks.
