Job Summary
Clark County's Juvenile Department is currently seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist. As the Clinical Psychologist in Juvenile Community and Court Services, you will focus on providing consultations to court including brief assessments to assist the bench with release conditions, collaborate with the court team in assessing and overseeing high risk youth going through the court process, provide brief interventions as needed to youth / family going through the court process related to safety issues, complete full psychological evaluations and mental health evaluations to youth for alternative dispositions, assisting management with program development and collaborate with other Clinical Psychologists throughout the organization. You will assist in supervising mental health staff which could include master's level clinicians and pre- and post- doctoral interns.

Qualifications
Education and Experience :
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.), from a professional program recognized by the American Psychology Association; and, licensed in the State of Washington as a Psychologist
- Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed
- Clinical and forensic experience with children, adolescents, and their families
- Experience with individual, family and group psychotherapy
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with the criminal justice system
- Ability to pass a criminal history records check

Retirement Information
All Clark County employees must participate in a WASHINGTON STATE RETIREMENT SYSTEM PLAN (PERS, PSERS or LEOFF).Employee contributions begin the first day of work. Current contribution rates vary by plan but could range from 5% to 15% of gross pay, depending on the plan choice.
