Senior Director, Human Resources
The Senior Director, Human Resources is responsible for developing, planning and delivering strategic and tactical plans, programs and services that support business needs, foster engagement, and drive performance and productivity at the site locations. Lead and train a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute human capital strategies.
- Be a strategic leader who can deliver broad HR expertise in talent development, talent management, organization effectiveness, change management, employee relations, and HR operations
- Experience designing and implementing policies and initiatives in the areas of employee engagement, HR analytics, compensation, leadership development, talent management and recruitment, change management, organizational change, performance management, and compliance while supporting company goals.
- Train and develop Managers/HR Business Partners and high-level executives.
- Design Human Capital Plan demonstrating people strategy with the business strategy to deliver results and improvements.
- Handle employee relations issues.
- Translate and implement defined HR strategies across multiple manufacturing site locations.
- Develop the change management strategy within the sites.
- Be aware of current trends and have an eye on the future.
- Be an influencer and change management leader to create an organization that can make transformations happen.
- Lead a team of direct reports while supporting multiple locations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 12 years’ experience as an HR Generalist handling a wide range of responsibilities.
- Manufacturing industry experience required.
- 7 years of managerial experience required.
- Strong ability to build relationships and influence others
- Strong leadership skills and executive presence
- Strategic mindset - ability to engage in detailed discussions while linking back to the big picture and broader vision
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Very organized and detailed oriented; able to manage multiple
