Veterinary Technician / Assistant:

Team job duties include but are not limited to:

• Client Communication, face-to-face, verbal, and written
• Assisting doctor with patient examination and treatment
• Patient intake and discharge
• Surgical assisting
• Patient restraint of multiple species
• Assisting with all aspects of patient care and clinic operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable method of transportation.
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Must be able to lift and carry animals and product up to 40 pounds (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 40 pounds.)
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Full Time position schedule is 40 hours per week. Pay is dependent upon experience. Experience is helpful but we are willing to train the right candidate.
