What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at CLARK GENERAL DENTISTRY CENTER, P.C.?
Clark General Dentistry Center has an immediate opening for a dental assistant to be a part of our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a dental assistant with EFDA certification being preferred. The candidate must be energetic and a team player. They must have an open mind and be willing to accept new challenges. Experience with Dentrix and Dexis are preferred but we will gladly train the right person. Position responsibilities include the following:
· Assist the doctor with patient treatment
· Generates and accurately orders supplies
· Follows all OSHA and HIPPA protocols
· Sterilizes instruments
· Provides necessary maintenance of equipment
· Seats all patients and confirms treatment details
· Verifies medical history and current medications
· Disinfect and prepares rooms for each patient
· Explain appointment procedures to the patient
· Fabricates temporaries and takes necessary impressions
· Takes necessary X-rays
· Maintains Sterilization Center
· Must have good interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
