JOB SUMMARY:
Provide Attorneys and Firm Staff with document assistance in Firm document programs. Word Processor must be skilled in use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional, with the ability to utilize advanced program features.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Document Creation/Revision
- Proofread
- Document Formatting
- Apply styles
- Create numbering schemes
- Create Table of Contents
- Scan/clean/format text documents
- Merge documents/labels
- Simple formulas/sorting
- Create Charts
- Slide Creativity
- Scan images
- Audio tape/digital transcription
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Log incoming jobs
- Practice complicated/rarely used program features
- Review training courses online/attend training classes offered
- Special Projects assigned by Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Typing speed of 70 wpm with excellent accuracy
- Audio transcription expertise
- Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Expert knowledge and ability in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Kofax
- Ability to produce and format complex documents
- Work under pressure within a timeframe
- Service-oriented team player
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to set priorities
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 3 years relevant work experience
WORK HOURS:
Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00PM (PST), 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (CST), or 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM ( EST) respectively, depending on the office location.
