What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor position at Clark Lake Beach and Boat Club?
A beach & boat club facility in Clark Lake, MI is looking to fill a seasonal full-time position (April-October) of a supervisor. the grounds include a recreational area, beach, marina, and clubhouse that operates a grill/fryer food service, ice cream bar, & full-service liquor bar. This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club's facility, marina, and grounds. In addition to cleanliness of club, friendly customer service for members as well as supervising up to 10 staff members safely and efficiently.
The position requires an organized, responsible person with strong communication skills. Supervisors must have the capacity to multitask & be flexible with their hours (weekends, evenings, & holidays throughout the summer) to ensure supervisory coverage during peak hours.
Supervisor expectations:
Interact with club members, both adults & children in a professional manner.
Enforce club rules & polices in a kind yet effective manner.
Respond to members' needs & requests in a timely manner well as well as handle any difficulties that arise.
Maintain a daily logbook for communication & incident reports.
Assist staff during high volume periods and/or as needed.
Communicate effectively with management.
Inventory Management (food, beverage, club supplies)
Overall cleanliness & safety of the club & all grounds areas.
Opening/closing duties to prepare for the day/season & close up of club for night/season
Follow all food service guidelines & liquor laws
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Required license or certification: valid Drivers license
