As a Care Professional, responsibilities may include:
- light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, dishes, or other chores the client may need help with.
- help prepare meals.
- assist with toileting, bathing or grooming needs.
- Provide companionship to our clients.
- Help with errand running such as grocery shopping, transportation to doctors' appointments, post office stops, and more.
- Participate in daily activity engagement.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Communicate with the office about changes in client status.
Benefits and Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $16.80-$18.30 per hour, and is based on experience.
Differentials: $1 per hour more for weekend shifts, $.50 more per hour for all hours worked in a pay period with no call offs; $.50 more per hour for Flexcare shifts.

Job Requirements:

- Due to the nature of this job, a valid Illinois Drivers License, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance is mandatory.
- Reference check and background check will be conducted prior to employment.
- Must be comfortable working in homes where dogs/cats/smoke may be present.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, & general public.
- Must be able to react appropriately for situations that may arise in client care settings.

Working every-other weekend is required.
Due to the nature of the services we provide, we cannot guarantee 40 hours per week.
Shifts range from 3 to 12 hours.
Overnight shifts can begin as early as 8:00pm.
