Your Role: As a Resident Assistant at ClarkLindsey, you will provide friendly, compassionate, healthcare and daily living support services to older adults under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Providing compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering meaningful connections and enhancing quality of life.
- Monitoring overall condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.
Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to provide person-centered care to older adults.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of residents and the healthcare team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with residents and families.

Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $22.90 per hour and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
Differentials in the amount of $1.50 per hour are paid for any shift worked between the hours of 7:00pm and 7:00am. (CNA, RA, LPN, RN)
Any stand-by shifts are paid at $2.50 per hour while on stand-by, and at the normal hourly rate if called in.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
- Must abide by ClarkLindsey's HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee Handbook.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public.
- Stand-by shifts are required, and will be discussed at the time of interview
- After training is completed, RAs will float between departments as needed to optimize resident care

This position is in ClarkLindsey's assisted living, specifically memory care. The schedule is full time, 7:00am - 7:00pm on a rotation that includes every other weekend (Orange and Blue).
