As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our resident-centered approach to care by providing personalized support and assistance to promote resident physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.Your Role : As a Certified Nursing Assistant at ClarkLindsey, you will provide friendly, compassionate, and adaptable healthcare services to older adults under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your responsibilities will include : Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and maintaining dignityProviding compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering meaningful connections and enhancing quality of lifeMonitoring and documenting resident vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing teamAssisting with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics and safety techniques to prevent falls and injuriesCollaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferencesThis position will require floating to all areas of ClarkLindsey including MeadowBrook Health Center, MeadowLark Assisted Living and Memory Care, Circle of Friends adult day services and atHome with ClarkLindsey home care. Requirements : The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications : Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of IllinoisCompassionate demeanor and genuine desire to provide person-centered care to older adultsAdaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of residents and the healthcare teamStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with residents and familiesAbility to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environmentBenefits and CompensationThe pay range for this position is $20.80 - $22.90 per hour and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 3% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.Differentials in the amount of $1.50 per hour are paid for any shift worked between the hours of 7 : 00pm and 7 : 00am.
