Location : Mobile, AL
Pay : $35 / hour
Education : Must have an ARRT certification.
Type : Full-time; Contract
Schedule : Monday - Friday, Day Shift
Clark Personnel is seeking a Mammography Tech to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description :
- Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other necessary devices.
- Position patients, utilizing immobilization techniques when needed.
- Calculate exposure factors and assist physicians during procedures.
- Perform quality control functions related to mammography and ensure radiographs meet diagnostic quality standards, obtaining additional images when necessary.
- Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques, if applicable.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients and accurately charge for mammographic procedures and supplies.
- Provide orientation and guidance to new mammographers, as well as training and education to student mammographers.
- Assist in maintaining and compiling statistical data.
- Perform MQSA training and remain proficient in state and federal regulations, including Phantom Image Quality Evaluation.
- Maintain good standing with ARRT.
