Responsibilities
We are seeking a Corporate Services Assistant that’s knowledgeable in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of equipment in building maintenance, assists with Fleet operations, and provides support to the Publications Services team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Corporate Services Supervisor at the Company’s Corporate Office located in Lodi, CA.
What You’ll Do
- Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
- Replace light bulbs and air conditioner filters. Clean gutters and roof solar panels.
- Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, warehouse, corridors, elevator, stairways, and other work areas. Empty wastebaskets and empty and clean ashtrays. Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, wax, and polish floors (as appropriate) throughout the building. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, granite surfaces, metalwork, and trim.
- Install camper shells, various spray rig components, Idrive, and storage systems on trucks.
- Install, repair, wire, and maintain all electrical components found in different vehicles.
- Dissemble and correctly reassemble vehicle parts and components.
- Test equipment and computers used for mapping out electrical pathways; locate electronic malfunctions in the system.
- Ensure all equipment is fully functional, clean, and connected to the automobile’s main power source.
- Use meters and circuit diagrams to search for faulty parts of vehicles.
- Receives and collates orders from the service centers; accurately fulfills requisition forms and ships and or delivers the requested items and supplies.
- Receive and inventory shipments.

Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- Excellent customer service skills and use good judgment in decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution and active listening skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak clearly and efficiently in English, draft accurate and professional written communications, and check for spelling and grammatical errors.
- Excellent organizational skills in order to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. Must be able to follow policies and procedures, complete tasks correctly and on time and support and role model the organization's goals and values.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Be familiar with reading and comprehending written and computer repair manuals. Math skills must be sufficient to be able to diagnose and repair equipment requiring specific calculations and measurements.
- Dress in a manner suited to a professional office.
- Follow and implement Clark Pest Control’s Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) and other applicable safety, risk management, and regulatory programs for employees under their purview. This includes (but is not limited to) training employees, identifying hazards, and assisting Safety and Risk Management with gathering information for accident and incident investigations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid CA driver's license
- Two (2) years of building maintenance experience
