Floor Technician

Clark Retirement, a BHI community, is hiring a Floor Technician for our Environmental Service team. The floor care technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility's floors and common areas. The job involves operating floor care equipment, such as vacuums, buffers, and extractors, to clean and maintain carpets, hardwood, tile, and other floor surfaces. This job starts at $17.00 per hour.

Essential Job Duties

• Ensure the community is maintained in a sanitary, orderly and presentable condition
• Safe operation of floor care equipment
• Maintains equipment to established standards; report any issues or malfunctions of equipment
• Keep work area clean and orderly and ready for the next shift
• Notify care staff of any concerns regarding residents
• Flexibility to perform other duties within the Environmental Services department as needed
• Assist supervisor with keeping the facilities in "inspection ready" condition
