Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ToddlerTeacher for our one year olds to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of one year aged children. The Toddler Teacher will play a crucial role in preparing students for their future educational journeys while fostering a love for learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique learning styles and developmental needs.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through observation and standardized testing methods.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development at home and in the classroom.
- Implement early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support in their learning journey.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Requirements
- CDA in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to educate young children effectively in subjects such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Familiarity with early intervention techniques to support diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are essential qualities for this role.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not required.
