Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in early childhood education.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess the children's progress regularly and provide feedback to parents regarding their development.
- Foster behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents, and management to promote each child success.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Encourage social-emotional development through activities that promote teamwork and cooperation.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Experience
- A Child Development Associate or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting or childcare environment is highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies for young learners.
- Familiarity with Frog Street Curriculum or any other Early Education Curriculum.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage children effectively.
