Clark School is searching for year-round Preschool Teachers who are enthusiastic about working with young children and dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment for all families. Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare curriculum
- Develop caring and supportive relationships with all children and their families
- Support other team members
- Ensure safety of all children
- Communicate daily with Co-Teachers
- Monitor children’s progress
- Communicate with parents as needed
- Participate in supervision and team meetings
- Follow the Clark School philosophy
- Care for the space and school equipment
- Participate in recommended training programs, conferences and other aspects of professional development.
- Other tasks as assigned
Preferred Requirements:
- Toddler & Preschool Teacher certified
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or related field
- At least 2 years of teaching experience with toddler/preschool age children
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check

- Knowledge of child development
- Ability to develop and present curriculum
- Experience teaching early childhood in a supervised setting
- EEC certification
- Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies
- Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
