Description
The Performing Arts Center (PAC) Substitute Technician is hired on a call-in basis to assist the PAC Technical Director and Assistant Technical Directors to prepare, run, and strike the technical aspects of any events at Clark State College and its Performing Arts Center and Conference Center.
Duties Include:
- Unload Technical Theatre gear from trucks and semis
- Hanging, circuiting, gelling, focusing, and programming lights
- Running Follow spots
- Setting up Audio equipment
- Moving masking
- Setting up Orchestra Shell
- Installing Pit Seats
- Striking all Equipment following shows
- Being on a running crew during a show
- Other duties to ensure the highest quality live event
Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Technical Theatre background preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- We will train you
Hours:
Varied including weekends and nights. May not exceed 28 hours a week.
