As the Residential and Commercial HVAC Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our HVAC service department. Your role will involve a combination of technical, managerial, and administrative duties to ensure our service team's smooth and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring technician performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their needs are being met and that they are satisfied with our services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential sales opportunities and provide technical expertise in the sales process.
· Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
· Ability to analyze data and implement actionable improvements.
- Monitor inventory levels and order equipment and materials to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train and mentor new HVAC technicians, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to improve our services and operations continuously.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a track record of ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Valid HVAC technician license and driver’s license.
