What You Can Expect
In this 10-12 week internship, you will report to the Marketing Communications Manager and will work with a collaborative and cross-functional team of coworkers from our organization. In this role, you will help to develop and enhance internal training and educational materials and assist in the enhancement of the Company's website and online communication platforms. You will also help to evaluate brand strategy and make recommendations to inform Clarke's position as an industry thought leader and product steward. As part of your onboarding and periodically throughout your internship, you will have the opportunity to participate in field mosquito control operations activities to gain hands-on understanding of mosquito control operations and build your relevant subject matter expertise.
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour based on education and prior work experience. Relocation and temporary housing support to be provided. In addition to a competitive hourly wage, this position will offer real-world marketing experience in a specialized industry, mentorship from industry professionals, networking opportunities with public health agencies and industry partners, potential for academic credit (subject to your university's requirements, and possible pathways to future employment opportunities.
This position will be based out of our location in St. Charles, IL. A hybrid work environment with a minimum of 3 days in the office is standard.

What You Will Need
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Environmental Science, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with interest in educational content development
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Ability to translate technical information into accessible content
- Interest in public health, environmental science, or vector control a plus
- Willingness to participate in outdoor field activities in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to effectively partner with management and cross-functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support mission and vision of the Company.
