What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse - Shipping and Receiving Clerk position at Clarke?
Clarke in Roselle, IL is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk who will be responsible for performing warehouse activities in a modern distribution facility.
This position generally works a 7AM-4PM schedule, Monday-Friday (end times may vary). The typical workweek is 40 hours with occasional overtime opportunities.
JOB TASKS
- Operating a reach truck (Crown preferred) to fulfill orders and put away inventory
- Utilize bar code scanners to pick and put away inventory
- Perform order checking and shipment preparation
- Load and unload trucks
- Contribute to a clean and safe work environment
- Flexibility to perform daily work assignments as member of a warehouse team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year recent experience operating standup hi-reach forklifts in narrow aisle Rack Storage warehouse
- Experience operating shrink wrap equipment
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts (Yale Models preferred)
- Experience working in a Chemical environment (Hazmat experience preferred)
- Able to lift up to 50-60 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma / GED required
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

PAY AND BENEFITS
This is a non-exempt hourly position and the hiring range for this position is expected to be between $19.00 - $21.00.
